  5. Labor Inspection and Compliance: Conducting labor inspections, monitoring workplaces, and enforcing labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance by employers, address labor violations, and promote decent work standards across all sectors of the economy.
  6. Labor Market Information System: Collecting and analyzing labor market data, statistics, and trends to inform policy formulation, decision-making, and planning processes, as well as providing information to employers, workers, policymakers, researchers, and other stakeholders.
  7. Child Labor and Forced Labor: Combating child labor and forced labor practices through the implementation of laws, policies, and programs aimed at preventing child exploitation, providing social protection to vulnerable children and families, and promoting education and awareness-raising campaigns.
  8. International Labor Relations: Representing Ghana’s interests in international labor organizations, conventions, and treaties, as well as engaging in bilateral and multilateral cooperation initiatives to promote decent work, labor rights, and social justice at the global level.
