- Peacekeeping Operations: Participating in international peacekeeping missions under the auspices of the United Nations and regional organizations to promote peace and stability in conflict-affected areas and contribute to global peace and security.
- Disaster Response and Humanitarian Assistance: Providing support for disaster response and relief efforts, including search and rescue operations, humanitarian assistance, and disaster preparedness, in coordination with civil authorities and international partners.
- Defense Diplomacy: Engaging in defense diplomacy and military cooperation with other countries to foster mutual understanding, build military-to-military relationships, and enhance Ghana’s defense capabilities through training, joint exercises, and defense partnerships.
The Ministry of Defence plays a crucial role in ensuring the security and well-being of the Ghanaian people, protecting national interests, and contributing to regional and international peace and security efforts.
